Hello friend! As a 21 year veteran I have lived and breathed "SERVICE before SELF" for as long as I can remember. There is nothing like the honor of serving my neighbor and standing strong for the things that we hold dear.
The first amendment lists religious liberty as the first freedom to be protected and I believe "religion and morality are indispensable supports" to a free society. No right should be dearer than the rights of conscience against civil authority.
Though I love all of God's creation, I do believe traditional marriage and family, based on marriage between one man and one woman, is the foundation for a free society and is best for rearing children and instilling cultural values.
The Constitution’s guarantee that no one can “be deprived of life, liberty or property” deliberately echoes the Declaration of Independence’s proclamation that “all” are “endowed by their Creator” with the inalienable right to life. Accordingly, I assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed. The Fourteenth Amendment protections apply to children before birth. I will always oppose the use of public funds to perform or promote abortion or to fund organizations that do.
As an Ohio Conservative Republican, I believe our party is the party that gives everyone a chance to learn, work and realize their dreams. Government cannot create prosperity. I believe it is freedom that allows families to succeed, maintain their independence, raise their children and practice their faith while building their communities and succeeding in the work place. The Buckeye Institute in 2019 noted Ohio as 37th of the 50 states in business friendliness. Supporting business, by staying out of the back pocket of the small business and the corporations that choose Ohio as their home, is a clear path forward to growth for Ohio. Making Ohio not ONLY attractive, but IRRISTABLE to small and large business will be one of my first goals as your state legislator. Lowering corporate tax rates and further simplifying our tax code for the business owner are two of my top priorities.
I will 100% uphold your inalienable right to keep and bear arms. Gun ownership enables Ohioans to exercise their God given right to self defense. As CCW holder, I salute those who tirelessly fight to maintain that right and will advocate fearlessly to protect this right and support constitutional carry.
